2002-09-26 4:03 p.m. two crazy kids

Hey, my aunt and uncle came to see me. My cousin Andy is three - a few years younger than I guessed - and everywhere at once. I was nervous talking to them but they were so nice and Andy was running around wild. They had some key lime pie and said it was very good and then asked me all about school and work. Candace says that there is a huge demand for children's book writers and Bob said that if my writing doesn't work out I could always sell key lime pies door to door. Andy said that I should visit him sometime because he has goldfish.

And then I called home and talked to my sister for a while and said hi to my dad who is apparently working very hard on replacing the toilet in the powder room. He was frustrated. I don't know why my parents can't just call people to do difficult things like that. He's not a plumber, he doesn't have a knowledge of the water system. Then again, he is an engineer.

Oh, and the boy I met? He asked me out and now we are totally dating like crazy. The trouble is that he lives in California, but we're going to discuss the long-distance thing when he visits. On Sunday! I've formulated pictoral proof that the two of us would in fact eat your children, if we haven't done so already.

I found some great Ralph Lauren sunglasses next to a pay phone today. There was no place in the building to turn them in so I kept them. They are not my style at all and I'm sort of waiting for a sorority girl to drop out of the ceiling vent and start scratching the hell out of me until I give them back. But, you know, until then.
