2002-10-18 12:29 a.m. the ascent of duder

Did I tell you that we found a turtle? I can't be bothered to read the shit I squeeze out here. The turtle's name is Duder. There are pictures of him here. We got him a big Tupperware container to swim in. The Tupperware is usually used to slide clothes under the bed for storage. So it's about three by five feet, and I have a few little rocks in the center that His Dudeness has not yet touched. It's too cold in there, and even though I have it in the sunny spot of the house I suspect it is too dark.

Tomorrow I want to go to Petsmart with Kyle. We need to get a filter, a heat lamp, a UV lamp, some pebbles maybe, some fake plants, some turtle food, a few feeder goldfish. That's it, I think. It's going to cost a lot of money that I don't have, and I'm not sure how much Kyle is going to want to put into it but I'm going to go ahead and assume not much. Oh, but I do get paid tomorrow. I hate spending money, but he's such an inquisitive turtle and so kind as well. He just wouldn't do well roaming around in the parking lot where we found him, he'd get himself squished.

I'm in the middle of studying. I found a funny article from a few years ago. It's a little dated but still nice to see people arguing so passionately about Keats, the Grecian Urn of all things. I'm glad that line confuses everyone else. I walked around the house and talked to Duder about it and got absolutely nowhere.

Another thing I'm not sure I've said: M&Ms and popcorn. Delicious.
